Beginning Saturday, June 8, 2024, American Airlines will restart its seasonal nonstop service from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) to Miami International Airport (MIA).
“We are excited to once again be able to offer travelers across the Midlands region a nonstop flight option to the beautiful beaches of Miami, or a short stop on their way to international destinations like Barbados, Costa Rica, or St. Lucia,” said Kim J. Crafton, VP of Marketing & Air Service Development. “This specific summer route has performed well for our market and the fact that American Airlines continues to bring it back year after year speaks to the popularity of the route.”
The flight is currently set to depart from CAE on Saturday, June 8th and run through August 10th – with flights only operating on Saturdays. The flight schedule is slated for:
CAE – MIA at 7:30 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.
MIA – CAE at 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
*Flight times are subject to change.
“American Airlines deciding to restart this service for our market is great news,” said Mike Gula, CAE’s President & CEO. “While still only a seasonal right now, we hope the community continues to choose this flight and show American Airlines this service is needed for our airport year-round.” Interested in jetting off to Miami for some fun in the sun?
