Rental Car Services
Rental car counters are located in the lower level, baggage claim area. Emerald Club and other executive club members can go directly to the lower level of the parking garage to pick up their vehicles. The following car rental companies serve Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) passengers:

Taxi Cab Service
Taxi pick-up is on the lower level of the terminal in the baggage claim area outside the doors to the left of the rental car counters.
Service to Fort Jackson – $32 flat rate
Service to McCrady Training Center – $49 flat rate
All other service is $2.50/mile, plus $2 starting on the meter
Rideshare Services
Rideshare services are available for pick-up/drop-off. Rideshare pick-up is located on the lower level of the baggage claim area in front of the parking garage.
Limousine and Sedan Services
Limousine and sedan service can be arranged for pick-up/drop-off at CAE. Limousine and sedan service pick-up is located on the lower level of the terminal in the baggage claim area, outside and to the left of the rental car counters.
Hotel Courtesy Shuttles
Several hotels around Columbia provide courtesy shuttle service to and from CAE. We encourage passengers to contact their hotel to verify courtesy shuttle service.

The COMET
The COMET, Central Midlands Transit, operates Monday through Saturday.
The COMET is a service of the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority and provides countywide public transit services on 34 fixed routes, five ReFlex services, vanpool service for commuters, subsidy programs with Uber and Lyft and DART for transportation to grocery stores and at night, ADA complementary paratransit service throughout Richland and portions of Lexington Counties and eight Blue Bike bikeshare stations in Downtown Columbia. The COMET transports approximately 2.8 million passenger trips a year on a fleet of more than 80 buses, vans and trolleys. Transit services are provided under contract with RATP Dev USA, Inc., Enterprise Holdings, Lyft, Uber and Bewegen.
